Preventive Maintenance job at MNI Mentakab,Pahang

MHYPPS servicing team were successfully carry out testing and preventive maintenance on High Voltage 11KV busbar and panels at RCF 11KV substations for BUSBAR 7A and 7B in Malaysia Newsprints Industries,Mentakab Pahang .The jobs were carry out on 5th may 2010 .

The jobs were initiated by MNI maintenance team after high rate of partial discharge activities have been detected through partial discharge detector in the panels earlier and as part of an instant preventive maintenance steps , the MHYPPS maintenance team were engaged to carry out all necessary task including testing all busbar including High Pressure Test , Insulation Resistance Test , Dynamic Contact Resistance Test for whole busbar inter-connections , electrical operation in re-tightened busbar and PTs, visual checks on electrical compartments and verification condition of battery power supply for 11kv systems.

The jobs involved 1o persons of skilled workers to carry out maintenance for switchgear panels and 2 qualified persons to carry out required testings.

The jobs had started at 1000 until 1600 and have been successfully completed without any incidents occur during carry out jobs.We would like to express our thanks to all MNI Maintenance Staff especially Mr Ng , Mr Wan Sabree and Tuan Haji as qualified Chargeman for undertake the responsibilities and necessary actions to ensure the maintenance job were carry out successfully without any incidents and make sure that all our staff working in a safe condition.
