On Site Dynamic Testing for OLTC & Transformer Breakdown with CMU TNBT AMKL

MHYPPS Sales & Technical Team were invited by Asset Maintenance and Condition Monitoring Unit TNB Transmission Kuala Lumpur to collaborate with their substation team to investigate breakdown incidents one of their in service power  transformer by using our advanced test instruments from IBEKO POWER AB , Winding Ohmmeter and On Load Tap Changer Analyser – RMO60TC series. This unique and durable test instruments were specially  design to detect any faulty or problems in the Transformer windings and also in the On Load Tap Changer (OLTC) by applying a Static and Dynamic Measurement .We had SUCCESSFULLY carry out full dynamic and static test on the 132/33KV 45 MVA TAKAOKA Transformer on 15-07-2010 and detecting the problems inside the OLTC and the results have been verified through through analysis including on site inspections.
